Global Young Scientist Summit 2013

The Global Young Scientists Summit (GYSS) @one-north is an international gathering in Singapore of bright young researchers from all over the world. They meet together for a week to be inspired by internationally eminent science and technology leaders.

The Summit will discuss the latest advances in science and technology, and how research can be harnessed to address major global challenges. It is a multi-disciplinary event covering the disciplines of chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, computer science and engineering.

The five-day programme addresses key areas in science, research and technology innovation. Participants interact with top minds through plenary sessions, panel discussions, and small group sessions. Site visits to universities, research institutes, public agencies and/or industry immerse participants in Singapore’s R&D eco-system. Participants enjoy interesting opportunities to soak in the sights and sounds of multi-cultural Singapore.
