IDA Silver IT Fest 2016

The largest infocomm festival in Singapore, the annual Silver IT Fest, is back! A 3-in-1 event that comprises seminars, IT workshops and exhibitions, Silver IT Fest allows seniors aged 50 and above to enjoy and experience the latest in infocomm lifestyle and trends. 

Typically held in the last quarter of the year, the Silver IT Fest aims to spark an interest in IT among seniors. Through the lively and interactive bilingual IT seminars, seniors have a platform to hear about the latest IT trends, gadgets and services, and pick up tips and tricks to enhance their digital lifestyle. 

Another facet of Silver IT Fest is the IT workshops. More than 200 affordable IT workshops take place during the event, providing seniors a platform for hands-on learning. Seniors can choose from over 20 topics from the Silver Infocomm Curriculum that caters to suit their different learning needs. Each hands-on IT workshop lasts for 3.5 hours and is led by an experienced trainer and supported by adult and student volunteers.

Seniors, and their families, can also look forward to having fun at the Silver IT Fest Exhibition where they are able try out different infocomm-related activities, such as building robots or playing games, as well as getting great deals on products and gadgets.
